Yeah it's really not as scary as people make it out to be. Best way is to use both doses of treats since I didn't get to use 2/3 turns from the second one anyway. I regret wasting a turn to whistle him to get stun. PS: imho the fight isn't as teriffying as it's told, houndmaster's hound basically mauled the poor bastard. It's absolutely something you should do though as that's where the full reward (and honestly, the REAL reward) is. I've never seen a single youtuber actually go to that room, even Baer who's done the dungeon like, 2 or 3 times has never gone there despite people telling him he should. There is an Ancestor's Knapsack which will give you a garuranteed, non-Shambler rewarded Ancestral Trinket assuming you don't have all of them, as well as a decent amount of money.
